اصيب مدرب المنتخب بطلقة نارية في صدره من جاره الصربي البالغ 86 من العمر بسبب نزاع حول قطعة ارض في صربيا و تم القبظ على جاره للاشتباه بمحاولة قتل.. 

و قال الاطباء ان جوران كان في حالة خطيرة جدا في المستشفى المحلي و بعد ذلك نقل الى العاصمة بلغراد لمزيد من العلاج..
